Critical thinking and the application of legal knowledge are at the heart of all courses offered in the Law & Business Major, which offers you the strongest integration of law and business among all Bachelor of Commerce programs in Canada. Legal education is important to your future success as an executive and a manager since you will acquire knowledge of the law. This will be of value to you when dealing with many of the areas of business such as contract negotiations, human resources, risk management, policy development and property transactions, as well as areas that are of increasing importance and significance such as corporate social responsibility and corporate governance.
Founded in 2009, the Law and Business Student Association (LBSA) is the official course union and representative body for all students enrolled in the Law and Business major within the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University.
To unite all students with an interest in law from across campus while promoting the Law & Business major, and to connect students to professionals within their chosen career paths, both legal and non legal focused.
